MAIN LEVEL Entering the home, the experience is one of intimacy with light and air and a grounding in the comfort of nature. Throughout the home, the materials offer rich, warm texture. Local Alaskan yellow cedar louvers set the primary tone, balanced by white oak and sophisticated tile and stone throughout. The front door and two special walls feature wood from Japan.

UPPER LEVEL Ascending to the upper floor, soaring windows offer a more expansive vantage point. The passage to more intimate rooms, an open light-filled space called the Observatory, offers a breathtaking bird eye view of the gardens.
